I live for Autumn, that is my favorite month of the year, or at least time of year. The smell of the leaves as they fall and degrade. I have this memory of when lighting fires to burn the leaves wasn’t a bad thing. Along with cooking hotdogs and makeing smores in the fire as the leaves burnt. It was a great time. I also liked the smell of the leaves and grasses as they turned fallow and the trees started their hybernation for the winter.
I would have to say that both september and october are my favorite months. Halloween is always a fun time an thankgiving is a food coma waiting to happen. Pumpkin pie is a fan fav, or pumpkin anything, except coffee. Those spices don’t match very well. To me, coffee is a bit to bitter for the clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon flavor profile. Sorry :).
